this is getting old... I didn't hide skill ( at least not intentionally ). I was just unfairly placed. Shit like this happens and I am not at fault (not going to point fingers because the guy who organized this tournament did a dandy job and does not need a million complaints about bags of sand). If I wanted to sandbag I would place shittier scores on songs on purpose... Just this "sandbag" business is getting old quick and needs to stop immediately.

I understand how upset you are, Toxophilis, and I have been following how hard you have worked to get where you are today. But that does not excuse you from making accusations against other users in this thread. When placing linebro at the start of the tournament, his only notable score was a blackflag on Yoshi's Cookie (47). The placement team collectively voted on the most appropriate division, noting that everything else in his levelranks jumped off a cliff after this point. In order to win a division, you must progress beyond it. And for that, I expect you to treat him with the same respect you would anyone else participating in this tournament. The finger pointing stops here.

do you know what skill boost means?
yes maybe somes on the tourney were sandbagging, or not. it's common on tourneys people skill boost, like d3 skill boosting to d6(if you know who's be....) and the guy on d4 that did 4g on a 80+
just keep playing, try mirror or so, maybe change your setup, isolate the hard parts, go for it you still have some time!

Beary was the winner of d3 in last year's official. He finished top 16 in d6 this official because of how much he skillboosted.

Beary wasn't D6 in the tourney when he was in D3... maybe D5 but definitely not D6.

Nobody ever said he was. The point is, Beary and arcn ended up winning their divisions because of how much they skillboosted. Beary was in d3 and arcn was in d2. They are both in d6 now.
