I'm going to use a shitty example here but TBH I think people here like to group #kbo with LJ as one in the same because we're practically the only community that accepts him with open arms without finding him "an annoying shit twat" like the active FFR community, which is a circlejerk of their own in many ways. pretty much how it ends up being is:

1. LJ posts some stupid dumbass thread again to start up shit on FFR
2. thread gets the attention LJ seeks because he's trying to piss people off
3. because he's part of #kbo, people are defaulted to think he's representing the entire community or some dumb assumption shit
4. #kbo ends up being branded as a shitty community by the FFR supreme government and court simply because we have this 1 guy shit posting on the site
5. general assumptions follow such as "if LJ is an annoying twat, the rest of #kbo must be too" sort of deal
6. people avoid #kbo at all costs and start shit talk gossip about the community

shitty example but it suffices to prove my point as to why I hear so much negative gossip and misconceptions about our community.

There was never a time where our IRC denied people from going in or kicked people out for no reason. GD and I, among others, advertise it on our signatures everytime we post and that's not for no reason..

While I'll agree that the Skype group is somewhat constrained, this is mainly due to Skype's group member limitations and not primarily due to circlejerking

doesn't matter if group was closed or not, some people prob feel kbo irc group or whatever is an elitist circlejerk because you guys have all these sorts of inside jokes that nobody gets and kommi/gd some others have made stupid elitist and contradictory posts before

now this is a prime example of straight up misconceptions and assumptions to make. this is exactly the kind of shit I'm talking about where people assume this stuff without ever stepping foot into any of the chats, let alone having an actual one-on-one conversation with anyone from the community. there's also a huge negative connotation coming from that comment, regardless of being sarcastic or with complete satire—if you think this is true, there are plenty of others from this community that think likewise.

I'm not making this comment out of spite or with the intent on arguing, but to bring to attention the stuff I hear all the time coming from people on FFR—you're not the only one that thinks this pretty much, rofl. it's silly to talk shit about a community that you've never been in, is all I'm saying.

just a headsup. Just because you think we made some inside jokes.. it doesn't mean you should avoid us. We have not or will never publicly display any hate towards an individual here. If that is the case then that's most likely me doing my own things but I havent done anything of the sort in months

I don't think you're helping with the situation here man

but you do bring up the point that FFR's own inner circles spanning from profile chat, vid chat, skype groups, etc. all have their own inside jokes, so what difference does it make if #kbo has some dumb obscure humour of its own sometimes? just because #kbo may have some inside jokes shouldn't be a valid reason as to why you should avoid or make general misconceptions about the community, that is just silly.
