So there's no chance of getting bumped down a division? I'm in D6 and I still can't even FC without mashing the song I got eliminated on last year in D5... (and other people in D5 AAAd it) not whining but I'm gonna get massacred =P may as well try my best and see if I can up my skill!

I'm crossing my fingers, hoping that D5 doesn't get some jack-heavy high-VC that I can't do for the first round. I don't want a repeat of last official (being eliminated in round one is embarrassing )

Your strengths and weaknesses may never change, but they will still get better as you do, albeit disproportionately of course. You're bad at jumpstream, so just play jumpstream files. Play them for hours. Play ones you have to struggle to SDG, and play ones hard enough to make your hands and arms burn. Then play them some more. Then, the day after the next, play them again. If you aren't already doing this, you can't say you're stuck. Plateauing doesn't really exist, if you aren't improving it means you haven't put in the effort needed to improve, or your effort has been misapplied. It's more of a problem at really high levels, but never totally concrete.

lol what difference does start day make? it's still 7 days, still exactly the same amount of time to play

On Thursday, I can grind out the round on that day.

I work doubles Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and then turn around and open Monday and Tuesday, which means that by the time I actually get the time to play the round, it's like four days in.

No first blood for me
