A few of my buddies place it as top 5 RPGs of all time. One puts it as his favorite PSX game

I can see the appeal, but it was already pas the point of acceptable age when I got around to owning it and I couldn't dig it. I do want to beat the game though, one day. I think it's fair to say it ranks as top 10 RPGs of the 32 bit era if for nothing else having a great premise and an interesting battle system.

Lol dude it's the only rpg that I like. And my favorite (or tied with second favorite) franchise. 3 is gay but still solid. And you should see all the apparel I have of that game; macaroons, cigarette box, dogtags, game guides, magazine with Aya Brea covers, commercial poster ads, etc.

Also one of Yoko Shimomura's best tracks in Primal Eyes stfu. I agree that the ost is not something you can enjoy as a standalone, but it fits the game perfectly. Kinda like most of Michiru Yamane's stuff, if you get what I mean.

I mean to be completely controversial and borderline offensive when I say this: Yoko Shimomura got shit on by Kingdom Hearts. I haven't heard any good music from her ever since she started working on that project.

Okay I lie. There are a few tracks here and there, but in general KH ruined her for me.

While I do agree that the Legend of Mana OST is really good, KH: 358/2 Days and BBS has a pretty solid soundtrack too lol. KH1/KH2 soundtrack isn't all that great (minus the FM tracks) but calling it bad is just dumb considering the other game soundtracks out there

Really solid list of games though, wooow. That PS2/PS1 list is pretty great.
