    2. I noticed that you didn't really cite any games with a good multiplayer aspect to them in your second post. Of course I'm not assuming that you've never played a multiplayer game in your life, but I feel the need to state the obvious here: having a group of friends to play video games with can turn some frustrating games into fun ones. I think that many subpar game elements can be overlooked if you just play with other people you know. I think plenty of people in the FFR community would be willing to play a multitude of games with a figure such as yourself.
I don't really know too many people who are regularly available/willing to play the same games/etc. Scheduling time becomes a big issue for those with full-time gigs, at least here in NYC. I don't really know what I should play or who I'd play with.

If you can get a friend, go play Pocky & Rocky

Have you seen Indie Game: The Movie? There wasn't a whole lot of drama about the guy, but he was shown to be VERY arrogant about finishing the game in it, from what I remember.

Also, even if I end up selling all my games (which I will likely never do), I will always have my personal favorite to keep me sane.

          I just downloaded Fez.

I hear there are a lot of secrets in this game -- what should I keep an eye out for in general? Are all secrets available at any time or is there any sort of "Aw fuck I missed that and have to restart the game to get it" thing?

One thing I hate in games is when you can't go back and collect some secret because you missed it first time around or whatever

My PS3 is basically a netflix machine now.
The only games I do play on occasion is some indie games that throw in some cool mechanic and somehow catch my interest, the latest being Rogue Legacy.

Big budget AAA titles are pretty much dead to me. I lost complete interest in them (except gta5)

                      play with a friend
like your friend is physically there.
If it's a one player game I try to convince my gf to play with me and I control the left side of the controller and her the right.
                      Really fun, not too serious.

Also, I thought the new tomb raider was great.
It was pretty fxcking engaging, and I don't really care too much for it "feeling" like the old tomb raiders.

i just came out of a non-gaming slump. my perspective has changed a little, and now i don't feel a pressing need to experience a game in the way i used to. i don't need to find every single secret unless the game is so much fun that i actually want to. i don't need to pick apart every single mechanic unless the exact same reason holds. i don't even feel the need to finish a game anymore. gaming is much more relaxed for me and doesn't feel stressful, as it had become. this kinda leads to me not having a "backlog" of games anymore, since i just don't care.

in summary, i stopped worrying about gaming and just began to enjoy it for what it is.

qft. 95% of AAA and fat wallet titles just aren't any fun whatsoever to me anymore because they are too casualized, so i ended up losing some interest in gaming as well since that severely restricts what i can enjoy.

But yeah I agree with the others -- the AAA titles just do nothing for me.
