Benn Jordan has been trying to recover the rights to all his music for a while now, and he has finally succeeded. In fact soon after Sublight folded he claimed to be in talks with Aaron Rintoul about clearing the rights to the albums on that label. Some Sublight albums began to appear in the Alphabasic online store, but there was never any official word on the subject, and even though we knew anything offered through the store was safe for us to use, this still left a good number of albums off-limits (and apparently, some ill-informed simfile judges.)
A couple of months ago I became a student at Benn's Alphabasic Music Center (which, sadly, is temporarily closed due to two former instructors pulling a Bonnie-and-Clyde.) Plans for the future are going smoothly, however, and I still get private lessons from my guitar instructor on his property because neither of them think it's fair that I lose my education because of this debacle. While I was eating pizza with Benn one day, our conversation drifted to music rights. I was pleased to find out that he had succeeded in acquiring the rights to all his music, and, recognizing the consequences this could have for FFR, brought him up to speed on how the site is doing today (he had not heard from us in a LONG time and thought that we were still shut down!) Luckily for us, he informed me that his permission still stands and now covers all of his music. This means that even releases that were on other labels like Suburban Trash and Metatone are now available for use (M³, Drain Mode = ON, Girls.Suck.But.YOU.Don't, etc.)
And as for the songs that we added that we may or may not have had permission for...hey, what these other people/corporations don't know won't hurt 'em, eh? dibs on stinger
The OP for this thread has been dead for a while, but I'm planning on finding what new permissions have been made since page 10 (or whatever pages Eze went through in this thread before).

They have some sick ambient style music. I could see this stepped for 1-20 difficulty. I'd recommend checking this out for good easy charts. Soundcloud Facebook Bandcamp
