And Kirbyman, if your engine question is directed at which you may use to play, you can use any of them. But Replay score submissions can only be from Velo / Legacy.

To be perfectly clear the engine's allowed for this tourney are as follows:

Legacy
Velocity
R^2
R^3

Settings that are NOT allowed:

Shuffle
Super Shuffle
Left
Right

Mirror is allowed because that option does not change the chart's hitting technique other than the hands used to hit patterns.

I'm not sure if that's an option. I'm saying no in case it is.

The deal with L/R vs Mirror is that unlike mirror it changes the flow of the chart pattern wise. Mirror simply reflect the chart over the middle axis of the receptors. A 1 2 3 4 on mirror becomes 4 3 2 1 vs whatever left or right does which changes it to something more like 2 1 3 4 or something along that line (not exactly mind you, but the idea here is that how you hit the pattern changes.)

By regular engine he means he won't be using custom engines (such as Team Blaze, DragonsFury, Team Indeed, etc.). He'll only use the regular FFR engines on this site as listed in his post which he quoted your post.

Also, one consequence of L/R is that it changes what would be one handed trills into two handed trills. L/R doesn't preserve the structure of the chart at all. Mirror does because it corresponds to a physical symmetry that's found in the majority of play styles. I feel like I'm doing a bad job at explaining this, but I hope anyone reading this gets the gist.
