D6 is suicide but regardless, one should always enter the tournament with the main goal of improving his/her own playing. Strive to do your best, but don't expect to win.

A lot of people's bitching on songs and their tier placement is due to their unreasonable expectation to perform "relatively well" one song after another. The point is to challenge yourself. Don't expect to AAA or even SDG a file. Quite often, it's people not stepping up to the challenge who are the ones wailing on their placement.

D6 should honestly have the cutoffs for tokens and other prizes extended 50% further than other divisions, just because of how ridiculous the upper tier D6 players are in skill compared to lower tier.

i.e. top 12 for vrofl instead of top 8, etc.

I know I'm not gonna place well, especially because my current keyboard doesn't allow me to do certain fast mechanical stuff. But I think I missed out on last tourney, so I'll hope to make an effort this time regardless of my division!

I agree with this honestly, since D6 is the highest division and the range of D6 players is the size of Texas compared to the other divisions.
