It's a proper noun. You all mean to say "Internet connection". Except uber. He means "Internet Service Provider".

You will notice that in case A, it is a connection to the Internet. In case B, it is a service being provided to connect to the Internet. Could've sworn my connection was 5mbps. I didn't get an e-mail from my ISP saying that my connection was made any faster. Guess they just felt like giving me more for no extra cost.

Really sucks when you're trying to share anime, but oh well. Also, keep in mind, it disconnects every ~30 minutes. That's wireless for you.
EDIT: I'm on a so-called 10mbit-down/1.5mbit-up connection which is split through one or two wireless devices in our house (we have four computers lol). ISP is Century Telecommunications.
