What he's saying is that if you're going to express your opinion, you should probably have a good reason for that opinion to back it up. A good reason meaning something besides "oh I just feel that way". I mean yeah, you feel that way, since, after all, it's your opinion, so tell us more. Tell us exactly why you feel that things should be that way.

If there is no reason except that you just want it to be that way "just because", then maybe you're better off not stating your opinion.

I mean, man, everyone blindly follows SOMETHING "just because" or because other people just tell them to.

Are people Christian just because they believe in it? Yeah. Are people atheist just because they believe there is nothing? Yeah. The same could be said about every single religion/non-religion until a god comes down here and smites someone for not believing or until someone proves there is not a god, which would probably be impossible to prove.

So really, we all follow SOMETHING blindly, but unless we can back it up, it isn't a good thing to argue.
