Extreme FPS drops on R^3 Client.

Hello friends, I recently got a new PC (high specs and everything) and have been experiencing massive frame loss when playing on the R^3 client. This was never a problem on my older and much lower spec PC. I used to run it silky smooth on my 144hz monitor but now it struggles getting over 30fps. I don't really know what went wrong. Vsync is the only way I can get the game to be even barely playable. All of the posts I looked through are only complaining about lag on the browser side of playing (which isn't really a thing anymore, and is of no use to me) so I'm left to ask for help here. Any ideas?
