need help with FFR lag (windows 10)

hello

i just upgraded to windows 10 from windows 7 (not a fresh install, used the win7->win10 tool that microsoft provides that brings all the data over) and now i ONLY seem to stutter when i use applications like DDREAM and FFR. i tried reducing stuff like windows performance settings, updating all my display drivers, etc - nothing's working.

the computer plays other games just fine perfectly smoothly such as path of exile. when i tick on vsync, both tournament edition and regular r3 release will work just fine - BUT i get those coke lines and my scores become significantly worse.

is there anybody who's dealt with this before? i was doing just fine on windows 7.

oh yeah, and i get stutters on ddream as well. please help if anybody has previous experience with this!
