Kidding! Team Blaze is a collective of folks here at FFR. We're here to have fun, to be good to others, and... oh yeah, we put up with each other, too.

Do we play FFR? Probably! That's likely to be a popular topic and game of choice. Expect regular updates when each official tourney rolls around. What else is Team Blaze up to, you ask? We'll be talkin' about this and that via Skype IMs, and group calls should be a regular occurrence as well. We hold some fancy events to steal your attention away from League of Legends every now and then. Lastly, we compete with our rivals, Team Frost. We'll be battling against them to see which gang is better at stuff, and stuff.

How do I join?
First read the team requirements below in the spoiler to see if you are eligible. If you are not familiar with forum spoilers, in this thread, you will see button-like objects called spoilers that you can click to expand/contract more information contained inside. If you are eligible, you can either post in this thread saying you want to join or you can contact either reuben_tate or dAnceguy117 directly.

-At least 10 forum posts.
-At least 250 games played.
-At least a member for 0.1 years.
-People join Team Blaze, not accounts. You cannot sign up with multiple accounts.
-You cannot be a member of both Team Blaze and Team Frost. (You silly goose.)

If you leave Team Blaze within 1 month of the date when you join the team, you will not be permitted to rejoin the team for 12 months.

Team Blaze Moderator Applications

We're looking to kick things into gear! In order to do so, we'll need a team of active and helpful staff members to cover all of the tasks we want to accomplish. Want to put Team Blaze in a spot where it can thrive? Here's your chance!

Term Lengths:
The duration of the new term will be all of 2014. Moderators may re-run as many times as they please; the performance in a moderator's previous positions will be taken into account for future positions (for better or worse).

We've got a full list of positions here. The idea is to divide and conquer! Remember, though, that being a staff member of Team Blaze means being a team player; that might mean helping out with other tasks that aren't assigned to you if another moderator needs help with their duties.

Primary Positions:
Chat Moderator: The chat moderator moderates (lol), kicks people, adds people, edits/deletes messages, etc. when needed. We're going to be a little bit strict with behavior in the chat, so our chat mod should be a good supervisor!
Thread Moderator: The thread moderator updates both the thread and the spreadsheet to make sure all information is super organized and neat.
Engine Moderator: The engine moderator manages the website/engine. This includes adding songs, creating website content, etc.
Event Moderator: The event moderator polls the team members for interest, schedules events, and manages the events as they take place. We think being on a team should be about doing stuff, and someone's gotta lead the charge!

Additional Positions:
New Member Welcomer: Promptly welcome new members that join the team.
PM Sender: Send team-wide PMs to team members when asked to do so.
Graphic Artist: The graphic artist makes graphics for team events and such. Other skills in graphic design are a plus!
Sandwich Maker: The sandwich maker makes made-to-order sandwiches. The sandwich maker must also cover transportation of said sandwiches to their rightful recipients. If you want to please reuben_tate (aka benguin), cheddar cheese will suffice (^)>
Other: If you think you can contribute in an area which isn't specified in one of the above positions, let us know!

How To Sign Up:
You must meet the following requirement:
-Be a Team Blaze member before this post was made

Then, you must send both of the team administrators (reuben_tate and dAnceguy117) a PM with the answers to the following questions.
Your PM must be sent before March 22nd at 11:59 pm server time.

1) If you got the sandwich maker position, which cheese would you use when you make reuben_tate's (aka benguin's) sandwiches?
2) What moderator position are you applying for? (Apply for all of which you are interested in, in order of most to least preferred)
3) What is your main motivation to becoming a moderator?
4) What qualities do you have that would make you an appropriate candidate for your position?
5) How do you think (a) the community views you? (b) the team views you?
6) How do you view (a) the community? (b) the team? (c) reuben_tate / dAnceguy117?
7) When are you available online in general?
8) Describe a personal experience of yours (preferably related to FFR community) that emphasizes at least one of the following: leadership, teamwork, perseverance, appropriate tolerance levels, patience, or humility.


Depending on the position that you choose, we may ask you more follow-up questions afterwards via PM. After the submissions are closed, we’ll review the submissions, ask any follow-up questions, and will have the results posted within a week.

If you want, you may post in this thread saying which position you applied for, just to have people possibly reconsider their choice of position if a million other people already chose it.
