Funny how I literally just finished writing a paper considering WoW (from a marketing perspective though).

Whether or not one likes these types of changes is really a question of what version of WoW one originally liked. I for one enjoyed BC and WotLK so removing hit/expertise and reforging just seems absolutely ridiculous to me.

Having those in the game made it so that you actually had to think about what kind of gear to get and what to do with it instead of just receiving Generic Item X however many times there are item slots.

And when I say teamwork I don't really mean teamwork in some kind of glorified manner. It is more like "everyone attack X" and then X dies and you succeed. If everyone can follow mindless instructions then you will do well.
