Default Sensationalism in the medias

From the past years, Quebec's journalistic sphere has been corrupted by a growing sense of sensationalism - mostly coming from our english-speaking neighbors - and it has been really frightening to see the propaganda of this new trend and the negative effects it has spawned. I'm really ashamed of our journalistic integrity and I'd like to know what's your views on your current media network and if you think it really is a harmful matter.

Just this noon, there was a news coverage about a stabbing homicide of a boy who had murdered its own family and they have presented an audio recording of the mother asking for help WHILE the kid was buttering her. There's so much idiocy going on with what is presented and how the content is handled. It's not always extreme stuff like this, but whatever the cause, I've been baffled pretty much every time I open the television. And I never do.
