CBR and the importance of 320s when using MP3s. Abridged.

Exhibit A


As Exhibit A shows we experience a severe loss of high frequencies (14K and above) when using 128s. Basically your highs are suffering, well, actually they are disappearing and that is simply awful. Basically, you only get to hear some parts of which were intended to hear.

Lossless is the above the cutoff point of 20k which is the highest human hearing range goes. It's basically to serve acurate sound reproduction more so than anything else.

PS: Correct me if I'm wrong on any of this. Self-thought on everything x.x
PPS: Your song sounds so much better w/ 320 on my headset :>
