The personality types are taken from Myers-Briggs. Your personality gets divided into four dichotomies: Introverted/Extroverted, Intuitive/Sensing, Thinking/Feeling, Judging/Perceiving.
Introverted/Extroverted is pretty self-explanatory. Intuitive/Sensing is a measure of how you gather information. Intuitive people are more likely to use theoretical data to come to a conclusion, and sensing people are more likely to use just the present information around them. Thinking/Feeling measures your decision-making. Thinking people are more likely to examine a situation from outside of it to come to a decision, and feeling people are more likely to try and imagine themselves in the situation to empathize with it. Judging/Perceiving indicates whether you primarily use your intuitive/sensing function, or your thinking/feeling function. That said, I'm an ENTJ. |
