Bush, Cheney signal support for Georgia

I would love to hear what others have to say on this topic. My first impression, when hearing the article's name, was 'awesome, we're siding with a country that's being attack by Rus..', and that's when it hit me: Bush sided against Russia. Am I the only one who thinks this is a HUGE mistake?
