So i'm getting Beatmania...

The american version, that is. And because i'm getting the controller, that means that i'm probably going to import some of the JP ones. So I have this to ask:

1. what are some good beginer songs on the USA one?
2. wat are the good JP ones?
3. Is this game worth 20 dollars (with controller)?
