Reach I don't agree. This isn't as difficult as you say it is. I've played stuff as hard as this in 6 months or less.
Piano performance major btw. Also, the Moonlight Sonata, even the third movement, is not difficult by any means. It can be tricky, but I learned it in about 2 months. Even the Revolutionary Etude took me about a month to learn up to speed. Of course, I practice about 4 hours a day. If I wanted to, I could learn this Piano Etude in a month or two. I've already sightread it and I know it is possible. I just have too many accompaniments to do and I'm working on a few Chopin pieces atm. So I wouldn't have the time.
