Default Tass Tournament Two: For Keeps. $20 Top Prize.

This tournament will be similar to my last one, with elements of Rubix's Omnipwn. It will be mostly general flash gaming, through Kongregate. I suggest you all register there, as you will need to register (and I'd appreciate doing it via my referral, so I can more easily track your progress. If you already have an account, add me as a friend).

There will be at least 10 rounds, each with a different flash game. Kongregate will log your scores, so while you will need to submit them here via a SS, I'll be able to double-check your scores via Kongregate. Anyone found to be cheating will be banned from the forums.

There will also be mental bonuses scattered throughout the tournament. They will not be announced. Some may have speed components, others may just award points for completion. Some may lead you to do other things. Who knows. Will depend on what I'm thinking at the time and how creative I want to be.

Scoring will be percentage based, with 1st getting 1000 points and last getting 0. The more people that submit, the less difference between ranks there will be. If there are 11 submitters, it will be 1000, 900, 800, 700, 600, 500, 400, 300, 200, 100, 0 breakdown. I'm assuming we'll get 20+ submitters each round (because the prizes will be worth it), so each decreasing level should be 50 or less. This should also help encourage people who are not in 1st in later rounds to get others to submit as well. Would stink to only get 200 points in 1 round because only 6 people submitted, where you could get 500+ if more had, giving you a better chance to win. Strategy and consistency are the names of the game.

Each round will be 3 days long and will be posted sometime in the evening, PST.

There are no signups. All rounds are open for the length of the tournament, and anyone can join at any time.

This will start tomorrow night. So, once again, go here to register.

Prize distribution:
1st - 100,000 credits or $20 USD
2nd - 50,000 credits or $10 USD
3rd - 20,000
4th - 10,000
5th - 7000
6th - 5000
7th - 3000
8th - 2000
9th - 1000
10th - 500
Top 50% but not in top10 - 250

So a minimum of 10 places paid, with a max of 50% of the entrants.

Any suggestions on things to change or tweak? If not, I hope everyone will be excited for this. Should be a lot of fun!

Round 6
Get the highest score you can in N3wton and submit the SS here. Also make sure to submit the score on Kong, as it doesn't do it automatically.

Round 5
Get the highest score you can in MAD: Mutually Assured Destruction and post the SS here.

Round 4

Get as far as you can in Micro-Olympics. Game is simple enough to figure out how to play. Enjoy.

Again, don't forget to keep checking all throughout this thread for bonuses and don't forget about the bonus for reaching level 10 on Kong.

Round 3!
Play Ultimate Survival mode of Generic Defense Game. You can find Ultimate Survival by clicking the images on the top bar after clicking "PLAY". It should be 2nd from the right.

In addition to the listed points, you get 5000 points per level completed. So keep that in mind while playing.

Don't forget about going for level 10 on Kong for 1000 bonus points! Also, make sure to check the thread thoroughly, there may be new mental bonuses scatted around!

Round 2

Play the game Fold on Uneasy mode. Get the highest score you can. Score is based on speed. So work to optimize each level and them combine them in 1 run.

I'd recommend practicing first on Easy to get the basics of the game. Easy and Uneasy have a different set of levels. If you die, you can continue on and practice in Ghost Mode, but scores will no longer record.

To submit: Same as round 1... take a SS showing the in-game score as well as your Kong username somewhere. Post it in this thread with img tags.

Round 1

Get the best score you can get on Desktop Tower Defense 1.5, on Hard mode.

When you either die or finish the game (there are 60 waves on hard), a score screen will appear. Take a SS of that screen with your Kongregate account name showing. I want to know who is who and that you're on my friends list. If you do not yet have a Kongregate account, you MUST have one. Register by clicking me!

Make sure to READ THE RULES IN THE FIRST POST. This tournament has somewhat unique rules that allow for very interesting strategies, should you choose to think of them and/or take advantage of them. Also, there will be mental bonuses throughout the tournament. Mental bonuses will not be announced at all! They will just randomly show up, and not always in the initial post! Keep your eyes peeled. They WILL always be somewhere in this thread though. Mental bonuses should be submitted via PM only!

Finally... a last bonus, that is open to anyone and everyone. For every level you achieve on your Kongregate account, you will get 100 bonus points, up to level 9. For reaching level 10, you'll get 200 points. That will give a total of 1000 bonus points for reaching level 10. No bonus will be awarded after level 10. A few people are already level 10+... you get a free 1000 points.

Oh. One more thing. I will say... there WILL be a mental bonus posted at some point tonight.

Have fun!

Tournament Long Bonus
100 point bonus for each level 2-9. 200 point bonus for reaching level 10. Total possible bonus: 1000 points

Mental Bonus 1
I happen to have a lot of brothers. Not all of them are from the same mother, either. In fact, I have 14 brothers. They're names are Abe, Bruce, Chris, Dave, Earl, Fred, Greg, Hal, Ira, Jon, Karl, Len, Mel, and Ned. You need to figure out how old each one of them is and from there, you will PM me the combined age of all 14 of my brothers. Len and Mel combined are the same age as Ned will be next year. Fred is twenty two times older than Earl. Mel and Greg are a combined three years older than Dave and Jon. Chris is the same age as I am [at the time of writing this]. Hal and Earl are five years younger than Abe, combined. Jon is three years older than Abe, who is two years older than Mel. Two years from now, Earl will be half as old as Bruce is now and one tenth as old as Karl is now. Nine years ago, Dave was twice as old as Chris will be in a year. Fred's age three years from now combined with Ned's age now and Greg's age ten years ago is two hundred and seventeen. Ira and Len's ages four years ago is equal to Hal's age last year. In two years, Bruce will be half as old as Len is now. Finally, in three years, Ned will be as old as Ira and Karl were, combined, last year. Bonus for solving: 500 points

Mental Bonus 4
Find a number that is 9 digits with each digit being a unique number from 1-9. It must also satisfy the following conditions:
-The number should be divisible by 9
-If the right-most digit is removed, the remainaing number is divisible by 8.
-Again, if the right-most is removed, the remaining is divisible by 7. So forth and so on until you're left with a 1-digit number that is divisible by 1.
PM me the answer for 500 points
