I'll put this simply, Eat what you feel comfortable with eating. You're not special in the terms of having to have teeth pulled, i had four of mine pulled for my braces, no big deal. occasionally, the braces will poke at your lips and cheeks, so just cover those areas with a little layer of wax. Be sure to stock up on wax, because you never know just when you'll need it
. Other than that, gum chewing is just fine, all you have to do is be careful about how much gum you chew and where in your mouth you chew it. ABOVE ALL ELSE, JUST DO WHAT YOUR ORTHODONTIST TELLS YOU TO. ASK HIM/HER WHAT YOU SHOULD DO/EAT. I HIGHLY DOUBT ANYONE ON HERE IS AN ORTHODONTIST, SO TAKE OUR ADVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK. |
