Actually, there are many studies showing that people who fantasize often lead more active sex lives.

So, people who are more interested in hentai (or sexual aids and fantasies in general) are more likely, by correlation, to "get some in real life". And those less interested in sexual aids and fantasies are less likely.

This says nothing about hentai specifically, but I think it clearly shows that they do not watch it because they "can't get any".
