It looks like muzie as a website went down, so RIP all muzie artists. It turns out Thanatos is also part of something called "WAS Records" which can be accessed at http://sound.jp/was/index2.xhtm (click the cloud picture to see more stuff).

If it's just that song, that would be considered as a Limited permission. A blanket permission would be if they said that you can use all of their discography.

I have two Questions.

1. If there are no details specified for an artist, are all songs good to step?

2. If I find an artist who has given permission to a song but the song is a remix of an artist who isn't on the list, can it be stepped or do I need to get permission from both artists?

I don't want to run into any problems for future submissions. Thanks

1. if there aren't any specifics mentioned in their response and you asked for full permission: yes unless a record label is involved. In which case you do need to obtain permission from them.

2. No, remixes by an artist of another artist's song so long as "nightcore" isn't the remix is fine.

Say like skrillex remixes a song from m2u, and we magically had skrillex permission, we'd be able to use the remix.

That's probably because permission was never requested, it's given by default in LeaF's homepage.
