Michigan is too far north, too. We'll never get people like ananana to drive all the way up there for a day. Seriously though, I think the ideal thing to do would have the meetup last more than one day. Driving for hours and hours just so you can see people for maybe one hour and then drive hours and hours back home doesn't sound very enticing. If there was a way we could meet at somebody's house or something and stay for a night or two, that would be awesome. Then if people couldn't make it on one day, they could come the next day or the next and some people would still be there.

Another good idea as far as getting us there: CARPOOLING. I realize that you're all saying "yeah MI is good" because you live there and don't wanna go far. Well how about all of you MI people meet in MI and hop in one/two cars and drive to wherever the meetup is. If we all carpool, it'd be a lot easier to get mass amounts of members to a meetup. I know I don't have a car, but I'd be willing to chip in gas money if some other FFR member came and picked me up to take me to a meetup. Maybe it's the same for other people.

I'd be all for going somewhere far away for a meetup, but my parents (and pretty much anyone else's parents) won't be for it.

I never said this should be in michigan, everyone from michigan however is jumping on that bandwagon. I said we should have this near the middle of everyone, not far north of everyone.

(Southern) Ohio is a perfect place for this because it's near the middle of all of us.

Actually, the only person who could realistically show up for Mississauga is LD, so yea, that idea is probably droppable.

You have to think of the arcade, though. I assumed that the Michigan arcades being the best was a generally accepted fact.

I don't really care, though. I can probably go wherever it ends up being - but not for more than a day.

This is why I suggested Playdium in the first place, it's the most kickass arcade I've ever been to.

Plus it's convenient for me, but ssh.

To anyone planning on having some HUGE meetup in the middle, you can just throw that idea out. MOST of us won't be able to come because of PARENTS not letting us go the DISTANCE.

Yea.. all you guys are old. Im like 14, and in New Jersey. We should have like a state meet-up, so its less of a hassle, you know. I mean we wouldnt get to meet everybody, but i think i can manage. Southeast is basically all of us in the Southern Virginia and lower region so I say we should have it at Virginia Beach. Hey, beaches, girls, abundance of malls, what more could you ask for?
