I think it's cool that you're getting a tattoo to honor your dog, and I'm sorry that she had to go like that. Personally I think you'd regret the FFR arrows in about ten years, but hey it's your body, you do with it as you like.

How about this: Don't get a copyrighted image as a tattoo. Have someone draw it up for you, but with your own twist. Make it something you own, not just something you found.

In all honesty, he COULD get fined. Will he? No, but it's still a possibility. But, the main reason I say not to get copyrighted work is simple. Someone else made it. It's someone else's shit. Why tattoo someone's art on you, when you could make something that only you have, and no one else.

I'm not really caring much about you using it for the fact that it's copyrighted, but that you're getting a design that multiple people might already have. Personalize it man. These things last forever lol. (I have 14) If it's going to be a part of you till you die, you might as well put some of you into it.

I do like your idea of getting the artist to draw something up from scratch. The reason I like this one so much is the stars.
