Does Youtube have a weekly/monthly/semesterly/annually updated rankings site of some sort?

Just wondering...

nicovideo does stuff like that. release a weekly/monthly/semesterly/annually episode of the best video rankings based on the number of replays/comments/mylists that the video achieved. it would be nice if youtube had something like that. people would know what videos other people watch, and what videos are popular... but then, nicovideo is much heavier, more complex, and more devoted than youtube is. Youtube has its good simplistic features... so youtube can stay that way.

EDIT2: never mind, this is in chit chat, so I guess it doesn't have to be song permission oriented.

A song I'd really like to see is Superstar DJ - By Dark Oscillators.

It sounds like an IDM to me... Bur I don't know for sure. If I knew how to step songs I think I could make it a high 7 or low 8.

Do you need permission for every song you want to make public? Because I have no clue how you go about obtaining permissions...

If permissions are needed I may just load it to the simfile database if I make a decent chart ^.^

A lot of people use Stepmania. There are a lot of guides on this forum.
