Hey Midday, there is a no weather hack patch. It still shows the weather, but no effects.

I believe that the 3 directions in which one can wake up (or 2 in a corner) is enough to avoid a 5A combo. Characters vary in their ability to wake up (Alice having the best distance difference). I thought that was intentional.

I wasn't saying that it was remotely hard to avoid, just that it's stupid that's actually a good oki strategy with some characters.

Alice's okizeme game got completely raped in SWR. The spacing and angling of all her moves are really awkward (correlating to the high ceiling problem you pointed out), and the fact her 236s require you to 22C after in order to activate them makes them much more useless than IaMP.
[edit] Guess I was wrong about the 22C. Still stands though, the spacing is really awkward. [/edit] But it's not just Alice. Fewer characters have decent oki capabilities, and though not by any means am I saying that this is the only way to play or generalizing, but yes, it's true: assuming the opponent doesn't groundtech on wakeup, sometimes just mashing 5A into their face can work better than trying to throw out cover fire for a rush. And since 5A can cancel and chain into pretty much anything, well; what can you do? I haven't really got into SWR; I tried. Just didn't like it, at all. Are there any corner pressure strings anymore? Since the spirit gauge works differently, bombs are cards and only d-bombs, and proration got jacked the **** up, I don't see how it'd work, if at all.

This thread needs more attention if we're going to set a tournament. Bump it as many times as possible. Someone get amazing IaMP screenshots that I cannot forge. =) Alice's 236C doesn't require 22C to activate. 22C is an optional addition to any C or B move that causes a doll to stay in position (max 2, unless if it's snowing). 236C activates on it's own, or is a boomerang depending on what you equip. 22C can be a homing laser, tripwire, or a stationary 236C depending on what you equip.

The only way you corner pressure is if they used their spirit gauge to 3. Even then, it's kinda easy to graze out. It's basically mash the crap out of 5A and Typhoon just makes the game more retarded. I'd join the IaMP tournament as well.

Yes, of course, though not all characters have them. Reimu and Tenshi have by far the best blockstrings, being unescapable without border escape or (for Reimu) an intentional wrong block. They're not only corner either. That's one of the main imbalances in SWR right now, actually, since the characters without a blockstring (Marisa, Komachi, Patchy, etc.) are at a huge disadvantage.

Hey Midday, you forgot about me for the tournament. I can play if I hook up my laptop to a local internet connection. I just have to temporarily disconnect my router and connect with my laptop. The local internet connection works with Hamachi.

You don't need Hamachi for IaMP online.
SWR doesn't have a relay function, but CowCaster does.

Does CowCaster have a viewer function? If so, I'd love to watch if you'd allow it.
Darn... yeah, Hamachi didn't solve this problem either. I relay for IaMP. SWR is Hamachi directed, so it's viewable.

I forwarded my ports, but it still doesn't work. I can't host, and neither can GD, so we relay, and you can't spectate those games.
