I got my click in for today.

Also, I agree with Reach on having more than just the population link on the front page. If six links wouldn't work as well, maybe just two would. We could have the links to population and commerce instead of only population.

I just think that having only population would be way too much to handle, as Reach stated.

Good job, mexico.

I think we can handle the massive population jump. It just means everyone here might have to do some quick proxying for a while on the bad stats.

If we lose 10% of what we gained through posting on the front page, its better then having people being put off by to many links and being confused.

I've been doing lots of stuff for this without saying anything.

Also, from looking at the number 1 city, I don't think we'll ever be able to catch them, they have buildings so big that the biggest one of them alone probably holds more people than our city lol. Here's their city: http://mft.miniville.fr/xml

Far out most ppl have seen the city by now. I think we have a chance if we get this proxy list pumping and get a good result from a front page mention.

Anyone with any working proxies please send them to alainbryden. He will then set up an-automatic proxy run-through program using macros and the power of Excel

Click that one instead guys. If you click the one in doug's original post, it'll help them out in population.

I'm on population.
PS city #1 "mft" has two buildings that resemble the world trade center buildings. Guess what happens next?
EDIT: #1 on the whole site has just over 35k residents. This might take a while.

Eh ... a tenth of what they have really isn't that bad. I'd imagine they've been up there for a lot longer than our city has even existed.

We've only moved 2 slots within the past two days though. It's going to be tougher to move up ...

I think that the rapid population increase from the front page could be contained if we knew when it was being posted, and assembled a team of about 5 people to proxy for a bit, then quit for a while and then proxy again after that.

The aim is to be contionusly building upa proxy list which can be automated each day. The list will be set to do up each stat in the right porportions as well. We just need to build the list.

Imagine if we had a thounsand working proxies being hit each day.

Xception: Exactly we arent at full steam yet and we are already up to a tenth of them. Does any1 know how much MFT grows each day?

Well, I checked it like a day ago and it was less than 17500, and now it's 17766 so at least 200-300 a day. But now that i've written down these numbers and the time of 12 I'll check it again later to get an exact number.

Keep in mind though, that eurobarville is the biggest city at 62694. I'll check to see how fast it's growing as well.

Edit: mft grew 4 in 1 minute

Eurobarville 6 in one minute lol
