Notes:

Originally I had a bunch of fruit vendors in the setup (one town and one wolf). When I wrote it out it looked too crazy so I took them out, but I regret removing them. If I had left them in Freezin would have been the wolf fruit vendor which would have been perfect and Star would have been the town fruit vendor. It would have potentially made the night actions results more confusing but because of the choices the blues made I'm not sure there would have been a big difference there. One big difference would have been Star knowing fruit vendor was in the game may have changed some things. Overall I think it was a bit town-sided and the fruit vendors may have helped with that

Jinx did a great job after losing her partner so early. The vote split on Day 1 was pretty crazy as well

MVP goes to Subaru for being the deciding vote against Freezin and for hammering Jinx before anyone had the chance to change their minds (even if you didn't realize it was insta lol)

I am so beyond fucked up; I'm in "I love you so much" drunk state rn so apologies for the rambling to ensue. 3 drinks in at my friend's meetup, finally got home. I loved this game so much. I apologize if I was a lil abrasive and all that like I did in-thread. I approached this game a little looser than any of the other games I've played prior, was more "send it" than I was careful to review my posts and I've learned a lot from Star and everyone else based on how everything went and lookin back at how I acted with the information I know now.

First game I felt like I kinda understood the approach to forums-based games but all the nuances that came with it via role mechanics and general interpersonal stuff was entirely unexpected. I was uncomfortable most of the game but that is a very good thing to me; I needa push myself more and this is a very great way to do it.

I hope everyone here comes back for TWG more often. I cannot promise the same for myself cuz I forget how much of a toll this game takes on me to be quite honest, but this gave me a very good gauge of how to play the game and more of how the logic all works when it's all text-based more so than I'd ever paid attention to any of the other games I played. I was young and a fool and tbh I'm still young and a fool but much less so than I was at 16/17 when I replaced into 189 for my very first time. Love this community and love the overall mafia community from what I experienced this game.


I am quite honestly devastated that it was ACTUALLY Jinx, the one other person based on our interactions throughout the game I was like "surely not right????". Definitely lapse of judgment game-wise but mannnnnnnnnnn :sob: - there had to be somethin that'd break the "This Time For SUREEEE".

Like I said in-thread and here as well I really hope I wasn't overtly aggressive towards you. I had genuinely no idea how to read you so I had pretty much no impression aside from anything you'd already said in-thread. Wasn't entirely sure how to parse a lot of your messages. Tried to address you alongside everything I said but if you felt ignored and I was the source once again I sincerely apologize.

I’m sorry Freeeeeezzzzzz I would have saved you Day end but I was tired and couldn’t keep up and I didn’t realize you would get lynched with so few votes. That first night was all kinds of regrets.our partnership seems always jinxed whether we are mafia or town lol.

Had a hard time choosing between Roundbox, Star, and Subaru for N1 kill. Went with Roundbox because I felt Star and Subaru had showed me more of themselves while RB felt he wasn’t good and cranked up yet.

Think of my surprise D1 learning you weren’t actually my partner lol. It funny because the 3 games I played basically had enough overlap to confuse me a bit of new people. And I was only mafia in this game so wolf pad on discord through me off because I have never been in game as wolf where pad was open from the beginning and o was dealing with all the real life stuff that was making me anxious: plus I was trying to channel my town self. And I was like yea I support Subaru and wow freeze is playing different oh he so sus. Then like the point in day begin you can se I backed way off Freeze with uh let’s give him the benefit of the doubt and also where I was like hmmmm I’m going to be critical of your view Subaru. Whoopsies. But you did great. Yes the game can be draining but as long as the highs and lows are equal come back for more.

Lahkesis really scared me at beginning.

Bone, TPS, and Blind all confused me for a bit until I got who was who an what nicknames they had.

Not one of my better games, unfortunate timing made me sleep through the end of the 2nd day of d1 and leave my partner out to dry. Misplayed at EOD too due to missing info from being asleep.

Gg town, especially Star and Subaru who were extremely locked in. Jinx did great after I was gone but there were way too many towny people and the wagons were being circled. I definitely didn't do Jinx any favors though and I feel bad about it.

I want to play another game soon but I might host one if it means having a game start sooner.

You actually were a great partner and I felt I dragged you down. Wish had talked more about people and plans in wolfpad but was stuck in my own drama and stress. Little more overlap between us and we would have been super deadly.

Yes yesterday even the lawyers were like my case at work is weird. They have to review to see if a law was actually broken or if there is more they can do then just advise and mediate. I didn’t talk about it this game much but my other games I talked more about I as stuff was happening as the games were going on. And even when I died pit of my home site game I used Deadpad as a place to journal/document each day. I actually had to print a post from one game to show HR that the dates were wrong on something they got me to sign because I had already posted stuff the day before and I would I know I got suspended a full day ahead of their dates. It was weird.

I actually really like LastoftheBone analysis and thought was spot on quite a few times

I loved the tension surrounding the voting on day one and how it all unfolded. Subaru nailed it at key points! Also, speaking of great timing, I recently came across dolly casino with a detailed review, worth checking out if you're into off-forum gambling too. Big kudos to Jinx for surviving solo for so long; truly an impressive effort!

Respect for owning it, would love to see you play or host again soon! Everyone has rough games sometimes!

Oh sure! It will be James Bond Girl theme. Sometime end of July. I actually as going to have the signups posted as soon as I had the avatars because we home make player avatars for each game so they can be the characters. And that should be by this weekend. The game will be for the end of July/early August but we usually accomodate the best time for players.

Thanks for the commentary Jinx and for letting me live to the end. I did miss roundbox though because I felt like I would have been able to sheep him a bit and do less work myself 😂😂 Also, less embarrassed for how I read you as having signs of being unaligned with Freezin when you were not actually aware of it for some of the day.

I will see if I have time for it! If you have any cliff notes on main differences between twg and the usual for mangahelpers, that might be useful?

Also (general question), if there was going to be a newbie guide for how to use the forum, do you think people would rather it was in a text format or a video? It did not occur to me that like half the game would not know how to do isos for example.

There doesn’t seem to be any site usage guide. We do have guides for our games however. The forum is pretty similar to this one. BB codes and post iso using the post count of the thread. There are a few more features but nothing on Mafia universe level. Anything more complicated I would have to defer to on of our greens or blues that play.
