Moderator and Administrator Recognition
I believe that new moderators and administrators, and changes in new moderation for certain factions of FFR, should be appreciated by posting these new appointments on the front page. For instance, although Sky Kitten's new status as administrator was very briefly mentioned in this article, the main focus of the article was not about her promotion as an administrator, and All_That_Chaz was not explicitly mentioned at all. Furthermore, _.Spitfire._ recently became a Forum Moderator, but I never would have discovered this without browsing the staff list found here.
Many new users have no idea who the current staff are, and I think it would be nice to mention who recently became a new staff member and who was given a new position or status. I believe new moderators and administrators as well as new changes in position should be mentioned because many people who don't view the staff list regularly would have no idea who gained new staff positions, and the new users would have a better idea of which active moderators and administrators are currently active.

Re: Moderator and Administrator Recognition
I agree about the Sky>Chaz bias sadness, but all in all it's not a huge huge deal to be directly notorized for becoming a local moderator, or I assume for official staff such as global mods and admins and whatnot, but maybe, just maybe this wouldn't be terrible for users promoted to official staff positions (Which again Local Moderators are not to make the seperation here)
I could dig that I guess. |

Re: Moderator and Administrator Recognition
Please be serious about this topic; I think it would be wonderful for moderators and administrators to have recognition for obtaining a new staff position.

i think whoever is a mod or admin is their goddamn business and not yours

Re: Moderator and Administrator Recognition
When I was still on staff I suggested doing like a weekly what's happening post which would have included stuff like user tournaments and other things that had gone on or were going on that week. I couldn't really get any clear answer from the staff at that time whether or not it were okay. I'd still like to do it.

Re: Moderator and Administrator Recognition
A news feed to follow those promotions and a bunch of more things that happen in FFR would be a good idea. I was thinking of creating something like this a while ago but I'm afraid I won't have time.
It could include : - New songs added - New events - New tournaments (even non-official ones) - New TWG games - New artists permissions - etc.
