Re: Songs of the Week (May 11, 2012)
I kinda prefer the original Flight of the Bumblebee chart tbh
Even though it's a dump, at least it "feels" right as far as the intensity of the steps matching the song... Nice understepped u got there Silvuh

Plasmatextor: Really fun file, all I really have to say.
Coffin: What is this? FOTB v2: I agree with everyone else on this one, the file is way understepped. UMAD?: Yet another fun file from MarioNintendo. Faint Breath: Fun file, catchy song, and first FMO FC I got in a long while. Last edited by SC_coolguy44; 05-12-2012 at 02:11 PM.. |

Re: Songs of the Week (May 11, 2012)
FotBB v2: OMG SO BAD! understepped badly and inconsistently,
UMAD?: fun. green note bursts were pretty epic. Coffin: Weird song. fun practice file Plasmatextor: Good. basically what I expected for a Kommisar song Faint Breath: wow this felt like a SUPER high quality file from a few years back. Fantastic! |

Re: Songs of the Week (May 11, 2012)
FotBB v2: Didnt really like this version of the song, steps were eh.
UMAD?: Pretty fun song Coffin: Song was derpy, steps were too Plasmatextor: Too long, didnt play. Sounds like every other Virt song so going to assume it plays like all the other ones as well. Faint Breath: Song started out sounding lol, but got better as it went on. Some parts were stepped weird imo, but overall not much to complain about. JS is always worth playing lol. |

chart is meh, not going to lie. overall, just a feeble (and successful) attempt at R1 music producer. I can do better now, for sure. |

The jumpstream was refreshingly unique Halogen. Not sure what you did exactly, but it kept me on my toes the whole time. Nice work.

Re: Songs of the Week (May 11, 2012)
I think he used a lot of [23], [24] and [13] jumps in general, which are harder to hit in general. It's like looking at [23][14][23][14][23] or [13][24][13][24][13] patterns.

Re: Songs of the Week (May 11, 2012)
FotBB v2 absolutely doesn't do the song justice. I actually prefer the mp3 from the first one, and as far as the steps go, they totally don't fit how FotBB should be - the whole point of the song is the fast stream, so to just step some foreground notes feels totally wrong to me. If you ask me, this song really needs a v3, with synced, properly patterned stream or even jumpstream.

Re: Songs of the Week (May 11, 2012)
It was all dat syncopation, made for an extremely enjoyable slow jumpstreaming file (with a borderline semi-trolly climax theory ending haha)
The song itself gave me hardcore nostalgia goggles for 06/07 FFR, so good on you (AJ) for that :') Other stuff: Plasmatextor - played like almost every other Virt file, nothing wrong with that though. Simple Kommi steps are always fun. FotBB v2 - didn't like it. Didn't ~*~ExuDe~*~ that difficult-to-play classical song vibe that most of us were probably anticipating (I know it was intentionally understepped shhhhh). Wouldn't mind a v3 after seeing that, as mentioned by queef. Coffin - surprisingly fun. Better than most peeps' first files imo, gj UMAD? - lol when the 64ths first kicked in, I was gonna be like zzz no way this is a 9, but they were short-lived. Nice track, nice steps 8) |

Re: Songs of the Week (May 11, 2012)
Go ahead and remove my file and upload something from someone else for the week's releases. With the response being this unfavorable and hi19 doing a new chart with the original .mp3, there's no reason why this should be here.
