Anyone near San Diego? (^)>

So as some of you know from an earlier thread (here), that I didn't get the summer position at the NSA. On the bright side, I've been accepted to do participate in a summer math research program at San Diego State University this summer. I know there are a fair amount of Cali people on ffr so I was wondering who's in the area and if anyone would be interested in a meetup? I'm going to be there from June 15th to August 9th (I could come earlier and stay longer, but I would need somewhere to crash since my housing arrangements is only for that time period. I do fine on a couch )

It's still a long way's away but I also want to start making plans on some things I can do and places I can go in San Diego. Any tips are greatly appreciated

I used to live there in San Diego, moved over to North Carolina now. Go visit the beach if you haven't, go to La Jolla (La Ho-YA) and spend some time there, it's great. I've been there before, the surf is nice. Just don't go when it's raining, the runoff from the raw sewage will make you sicker than a dog!! Hahahah!!!!
