What is overlay setup?
I don't know the exact speed but I know I my max speed with this technique is shanghai moon 1.8 rate

Ok so that is almost 250 BPM 16ths. Basically, overlay setup is when you have a keyboard that is sensitive enough to allow for two fingers to hit on the same key without having to entirely lift up your finger.

When OWA played Crowdpleaser for example, he did a one-hand trill with two fingers on his right key and did the same for the left key. This means it's basically two 16th trills at 240 BPM on each hand, but only using two keys.

Similarly, it could be done for a roll except using four fingers on each hand, with two fingers for one button. It makes sense the max would be around 250 if it's utilizing one hand trilling like that.

I'm a visual guy so looking at my keyboard (I use qwop) I would use all 4 fingers on qwop from pinky to index on qw on my left hand and index to pinky on op on my right? Is that how that works?

For a roll on all four arrows, you'd need to use 8 fingers total.

In your case, you could do the following.

Left Hand
- Pinky and ring fingers for q
- Middle and index fingers for w

Right Hand
- Index and middle fingers for o
- Ring and pinky fingers for p

Because of how cramped and uncomfortable that setup is, it makes sense that the hits are mostly like quads.

I'd argue that I don't think that's quiiiite legit, pretty sure that was described as 1 finger 1 button, 2 fingers 1 button while adhering to not double setup, and while requiring reasonably more skill, is still kinda crapbaskets, not everyone will have a keyboard that even allows it making this legit strat an actual expense, I don't think it should be outlawed to specify, but I'm not impressed at cheese, and there are a lot of other signs I've seen that rapta might DS, I'd really like a hands video of this strat, I don't see it as totally fesible to simulate cohesive quads at that speed with 8 fingers, it doesn't make sense to me, especially given the transition and near AAA of the pre vibra roll wall, but given you shoulda AAA'd the pre-vibra roll I can understand that you might have been setting up during that roll, it still seems pretty lame tho.

Edit: the other reason I feel this, but that might have been resolved, is that you're recently returning and I don't believe you have the stam for this yet, at least I'd seen you drop out of some files for stam reasons, but you doooo play a lot.

Really though posting this kind of thread, it's pretty reasonable to be asked to show a hand video heh

This is pretty bad for a tutorial but I can't do the tutorial I wanted because my good camera is being annoying.
