Dude, I'll go if you go.

I'm 100% getting my ticket, but I haven't quite secured a place yet. Gotta either talk to Ally so that I can maybe do something like what I did last year, or talk with a friend that lives down on Don Mills so that I can stay with him.

Kind of insecure about staying with others but I'm open to the idea. I think my friend @ Don Mills will definitely allow me to stay at his place given enough notice.

Ticket purchased. Now to wait for summer school schedule to see if I can actually attend.

I didn't realize you can roll over your pass to a future year if you can't attend, though; that's pretty neat.

trying to figure out if I want to fly into chicago and head straight up to anime nords or if I want to spend a day or two in the city

Personally I would visit Chicago if I were in your situation either way. I freaking love Chicago, you'll definitely be able to find something fun there even by yourself.
