I gave Kanon an isolation run and tried jumptrilling the bursts - they're fast enough to cheat-AAA, but it's tremendously difficult to have to repeatedly transition between jumptrilling bursts and hitting everything that comes before and after them normally. Especially because some of the burst-rolls are 1423. It just takes a lot of concentration to figure out what to cheat and what not to

I will not be cheating Kanon with the JJ'able bursts. I'll still hit them normally. The song feels more "normal" that way if you understand what I mean. But, I'm currently warming up with SM for the morning. This afternoon, i'll re-warm up and whore some FFR and hopefully obtain at least 3 goods

I didn't cheat the patterns in Kanon at all, and all my goods come from weird stuff that isn't in the hard section. Oh well.

D6 will be the one getting the "ass-blasting."

D2 does not need it. There are just a few players who are clear front-runners.

Hope you're right! I'm starting to lose my edge in these later rounds. I have a feeling the much later rounds (if I make it there) will be murder.

It's actually a really exciting experience for me this round! Up to 71 plays and I still cannot improve from 7-1-2-0. The last time that I had this kind of trouble earlier on was back in the 4th official tournament, back when I had to play Sonata Quasi - thankfully, a whole bunch of other people had the same score that I did, so I wasn't in any real danger of being eliminated.

But yeah, this is kinda neat. I'll have to keep trying and eventually getting there. Had I not butchered the ending on that run, I'd probably be in much better shape (I think it would have been 3-1-2-0?). It's still surprising seeing that I've not had anything better than that yet, though.

Makes the tourney much more exciting imo (except for brandon RIP)

there we go. i got a decent score. stupid misses are destroying me. but thank god this isn't combo scoring anymore.

Good god I am the cuttoff. And I can't improve the file at all. I barely get 41k anymore. Oh well. Someone who hasn't played is bound to sightread it better than me anyway. Rip me OT 2k16

Edit: Got 20 more points xD Hurray for not really improving while getting lucky and improving a score!
