I wasted like an hour scraping every wall until I realized that I needed to be focusing on the big freaking puzzle out in the middle of the level. You know, away from the walls. >.<
Wasted more time reading through journal entries to see if there was anything that tied in to this particular puzzle. Eventually noticed the QR code on the nearby stone that didn't seem to generate any text. I figured it was a bug at first, but then I tried actually reading it with my phone.
The embedded hex gives a date/time -- I thought the answer was 20:18 and was incredibly disappointed when nothing happened (cue cries of "OMG DUDE WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME"). 7/20, though, was much more forgiving. XD
Bought this because of the high praises ITT and boy, you guys were right. Just made it to the Egypt-themed area, can't wait to keep going. As a fan of hub worlds, I'm super satisfied.
Sick, Ive seen you write stuff and I'd totally have bet on you really enjoying something like this. Make sure you read all the terminals stuff and collect all the time capsules (the latter being the best pieces of writing in the original game, imo, although the expansion bests it in parts), the overall story is a joy to piece together.
Rubix- I really hated that puzzle, lol. It was actually pretty awful from a puzzle design viewpoint - then again not everyone's been spoilt on IH and zest, so...
Decided to explore a bit and visit the surface (where you can see the huge tower).
Veering off-boundary is strangely hypnotic, soothing, and creepy at the same time:

I agree. It's a little out of place, all else considered. It would have taken a lot longer without IH/Zest/Notpr0n-style solving.
small space big solution was really cool, although the second half was considerably easier than I was making it out to be, thinking a bit too complicated. Still, I wanted to see that trick used and now it is. 10/10 would get stumped again
Nerve-Wrecker: Aaaaaaaggghhhhhh. What a pain that was.
These Gray levels are tricky. Basically lots of fidgety timing puzzles with jammers, forcefields, and those floating sentry bomb things.
Dumb Dumb Mine: What the fsnfdsnfs.
I have absolutely no idea how you're supposed to beat this one. As far as I can tell, I can't do shit. I was able to jump on the railing near the forcefield, but from there I still can't do anything. The purple forcefield prevents me from bringing stuff in, too.
Edit: Soooo, this is actually one of those situations where you eliminate the impossible, and the resulting conclusion happens to be right.
lol I don't know how far you are in that puzzle but if you want a hint to start things off that doesn't spoil much:
This is a rather unique puzzle and is completely impossible using only the resources given within the puzzle itself
That one is definitely one of the harder puzzles in the main game. The gray levels in general are supposed to be either unusual, tricky or obscenely hard.

That was the eventual conclusion -- "There might be another way to bring stuff into the level." Turns out there's a fan, jammer, and axe -- after that, the rest follows.
At least now I know how you're supposed to get into the barricaded door in World A. There must be an axe in one of the main hubs / outer surface somewhere, or something.
One of many eastereggs, Reincarnate. Keep your eyes peeled. There are tons of them, including at least a dozen secret areas.
I found a hilarious one today
usable JETPACK LOL in C-3
Found it accidentally when trying to get the star. Wow. A must see for anyone that has beaten the game but never seen it.
Tackling the sigils in star world C, since I never did them on my last play through. Nexus was simple but ...cobweb I think takes the cake for most annoying puzzle ever. Definitely going to come back to this one later lmao
Having a hell of a time finding the second star in B-4, lmfao.
Thoughts so far:
I figure it just HAS to do with the big Sphinx thing, but I haven't been able to quite figure out what yet.
"The burning heart always looks to the highest peak" implies something with the pyramid, though. I've tried to see if there's any way to go off-boundary and go over to the pyramid (possibly to climb it), but so far no dice. Closest I've gotten is using the fan launcher from the first star, which launches you just a tad too far to land on the boundary walls.
Edit: lmao, got it finally. This one is almost as unfair as A-3... almost.
