I need to restate this rule after being tipped off about some unfair activity in ThirdStyle chat. Let's keep this tournament clean and fair

Do not collaborate with another simfile artist. Do not share or exchange stepfile downloads, screenshots, or feedback in any capacity. If you are caught cheating, all parties involved will be removed from the tournament.

turns out that if you write down a file on paper before you make it, it takes approximately no time to finish when you get to a computer

Your .sm is pointing to "Lovely City (cut).mp3" which cannot be found. I fixed this with a simple rename, but if you plan on submitting a revised copy later on in the week, double check to make sure your stepfile opens correctly!

hah, what a jerk of a .sm file I thought I cleared all of those manually. Thanks. Should work as it's supposed to, regardless of it trying to read a different .mp3.

funny thing is, I did double check it by opening it up in sm5 and it worked fine before I zipped it. that is strange

Everything works fine on your end because SM5 stores a local copy of your .mp3 at %AppData%>Roaming>StepMania 5, and loads your music from that directory every time you open your stepfile.

On the first post of the the thread, it says this:

All submissions will be available to play on the FFRMania alternate FFR engine.

While all submissions will be on the engine, you likely will not know which chart belongs to what room.

I'm pretty sure no program for undergraduate stepmen has opened yet in any university we're all on the same boat.

Sent my file.

Thinking about it critically, I made a few glaring errors that I'm too lazy to fix and I'd probably only give it 6/10 if I were a judge, 7/10 if I were feeling charitable because it's an oddly fun file despite the fact it's basically one giant technical error the whole way through.
I guess fun with scattered technical mistakes is pretty typical of my files though so whatever, we'll call it ~stepping style~
