Any steady noise like a fan going all night, consistent heavy rain, air conditioning.
Yeah, I have Tinnitus so if i don't have some kind of white noise to drown out the ringing, it can be a bit irritating. I usually have a fan on me the entire night.
I like laying in bed for at least 20-30 minutes before actually getting up in the morning afternoon.
Going to the airport and watching planes take off and land. Like if I have nothing planned for the day then I'll drive to the airport, pay to park in the lot, grab some sort of food and sit and watch them for hours. I also go to the mall and people watch. There is something about hubs like malls or airports or busy train stations where I just want to sit and watch. I find it almost calming. People, airplanes, trains, boats... the hustle and bustle of life.
I do this as well. I slowly get the temp to max so that normally you would instinctively pull back your hand if you touched it. Once I finishing washing my hair I typically stay in until the water starts to get cold or until I get exhausted. Cooling off from those temperatures feels amazing.
More sound-related things, thin packed snow crunching underfoot, like right after the sidewalk plow's gone by and it's cold enough outside for that sound to happen.

That's almost as bad as Styrofoam for me.

Best strat: enjoy the game, play what you feel like when you feel like it. Don't think about what you are doing or why, enjoy the gameplay, the artistry behind the stepfile, and enjoy the music.
When the game isn't fun for you anymore, take a break. It's not a job, nobody here is professional and getting paid to play and force themselves to constantly improve... it's a game.

Yeah, FFR is addicting...I don't think I'll get bored with this game unless I somehow become the best at it, which won't happen.
