We can chill Friday/party that night. (By party I mean staying up late doing whatever) then cedar point on Saturday.
That sounds good. For those of us who work retail it can be easier to book week days off work, and I'd imagine Cedar Point would be a bit less busy on week days, so maybe we could do two misc days during the week instead of Friday/Saturday? Also Cedolad must attend !
I would think going to Cedar Point on a weekday would have less traffic in the park.
My preference is that I would start driving on Saturday the 16th, get there that night, and do shit for the next few days. I guess it would still leave a possible weekend day (Sunday) for Cedar Point, but this is the earliest we could probably do this. Me and Izzy get off work at 3 - 4 PM, and it takes every bit of 12 hours to get to Detroit.
We would also be willing to pick someone up on the way, someone who lives in St Louis, Indianapolis, Chicago maybe if we go that direction (toll roads are gay though, don't really want to go through Chicago, I think I-90 has a toll), if they're willing to throw some gas money for our troubles
I know there's some toll roads in the Chicago area. When I drove to Detroit to see the family for Christmas from Wisconsin, we had to take a few, including the sky bridge or whatever.
Haven't been down there in a few years, so I'm guessing that with inflation tolls will be like 50 cents per booth, with maybe 5 bucks for the bridge. It's gonna add up. I'd also advise you to pack snacks, as it's about 8 hours including piss breaks from Milwaukee to Detroit by car, and then another 2 or 3 to Cedar Point.
The only breaks we would take are when we have to fill up for gas (which I think is 3 fillups including the one at the very beginning. I don't mind going through Chicago and paying some tolls if it ends up being faster, since the person we pick up will help pay for shit anyway
