I know the first Michigan Meetup was a success, but that was hundreds of years ago.

If enough old school people show interest, I might also. I live in Kansas, but I've been feeling like taking a roadtrip lately. Could even bring Izzy along. I've always wanted to go to Cedar Point, and that is somewhat in the area

cedar point is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING OMG but really is not for everyone. if anything, I think that should be an "also some people are doing this right before or right after" kind of deal.

I've always wanted to do cedar point, It's a bit of a hike from Philly though.

If i were to come down for this It would have to be for at least a few days.

It would definitely be a 3 day weekend thing, most likely. I'd prefer mid August, because its right before I go back to college

Cedar Point is all the way in Ohio. Charu is right, though, it's where everyone goes. Hell, my physics class took a trip down there once.

You try riding a roller coaster while taking g-force measurements. Yeah.
