For whatever reason over the years we have become such a self destructive community that we will shit on any community that pops up, either new or a revived community. Not enough people will support these communities/websites, and not enough people have the financial stability to maintain or pay for features for these communities/websites.

Until we can learn to stop being complete fucking ******s, not a single community will EVER flourish, and FFR will be all we will have for years to come.

like you can prob label me as "nerdy dude who plays league of legends all day" and it's true
but sad fact is "i play japan rpg and anime uguu" has a much worse public image than the one above

that's pretty subjective still

public image is as subjective as how good the league community is. even if we were all playing japan rpg and anime uguu (which about 10% of #kbo maybe does) labeling people like that is pretty shallow.

she told me what I do for my hobbies has no weight on her opinion of me, and my performance at work is unrelated and didn't give a shit. I work for the provincial government. others I work with also watch anime. we still have jobs.

again, subjectivity and prejudice.
