This is true and it makes me sad

The skill range for D6 is so massive that there is a wide range of players who will never even have a chance at earning a top 8 spot. I think they should at least split D6 into D6a and D6b and give top 4 in each the tokens, or maybe even a D6a D6b D6c D6d and give to top two. That way everyone in D6 will have a similar chance to get tokens. This could be implemented in other divisions too but i think D6 needs it the most.

Only D6 because if you use it in like D4, the lowest in D4a is better than top in D4b but doesnt win anything and gets butthurt.

The Tournament admins do it by hand so no worries.

Hopefully I won't be out in the first few rounds. I'll be out the first AAA or die round comes along.

I havent played in months, I'm going to get pooped on. But hopefully, i'm still able to put up a challenge

Placements are not affected my current skill level. What I mean by that is that they are going off your level ranks.

Something neat that could be done in order to minimize complaints w/ respect to placements during a tourney would be to create six tokens, with one unique token given out to the top 8 of each division. Anyone placed a division higher would auto-receive the unique tokens given out in lower divisions at the end of the tourney. e.g. anyone placed in D2 receives the top 8 D1 token, anyone in D4 receives the top 8 tokens for D1-D3. Would prevent sandbagging as players would have the motivation to try harder in order to get placed in the highest division they possibly can.

The idea could prob use a bit of tweaking but the gist of it is there.

D6 should honestly have the cutoffs for tokens and other prizes extended 50% further than other divisions, just because of how ridiculous the upper tier D6 players are in skill compared to lower tier.

i.e. top 12 for vrofl instead of top 8, etc.

i've already been accused of sandbagging and the divisions haven't even been decided yet
also everyone saying that d6 has the widest range in skill is forgetting that, in all technicality, d1 ranges from people who can't pass super mario to *insert arbitrary cutoff here*
