Re: Friendship is Magic (current FFR Pony avatar count: >9000)
Happy pony day everypony! Today marks the first anniversary of Friendship is Magic. It's been a pretty amazing year even though I'm pretty sure a lot of us were late to the party. Here's to another great year of ponies!

I just found out I have to work early on 15 October so I might miss the airing of episode 3. I usually get off work at 3:00 and I'm home by 5:00, do you guys think there will be a solid 720p download by then?

Can't wait for the new episode! It's good to have another slice-of-life story after the adventure-y Discord episodes, I can't wait to see what they pull off.

Just went through the first three pages of the thread, I've seen the first two episodes, the show is a good kids show; it looks good, the dialogue isn't TOO predictable, and other perks I'm sure. The bad thing is a lot of guys probably get off on this, or are just psychologically allured to all the cute female voices. Btw, the show was developed by the same girl who worked on Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. Needless to say, you all love this lady. Anyway, MLP doesn't have the violence Powerpuff Girls had, and there isn't a whole lot of anger (like in Dexter's Lab), so I don't get it. Do I need to watch more episodes?

Sorry if ya'll talked about this already.
We did, and we've established that the first two episodes of each season are more "Sailor-Moon-ey". The following episodes are sitcom/slice of life...ey. I suggest you watch a couple more episodes, and if you don't like it, at least you gave it a whirl.

It's definitely not for everyone. I was skeptical of the show at first, but as soon as I saw the first episode I knew I wanted more. I started to watch more and more episodes and eventually I got hooked. If you gave it a try then that's all anyone can ask for.
protip: watch episode 9
EDIT: Yeah, I've seen that qqwref. I was WTFing the first time I saw it.
