Donkey Kong (all of them) for SNES, Mario RPG for SNES, Mario Paint (XD) for SNES, Super Mario Sunshine will never die, Final Fantasy Tactics for PS1, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2, James Bond Nightfire, GTA San Andreas, etc. All games I can always go back to.

Who would have thought such a stupid concept "hey kids I heard you like playin pokemon cards so play your pokemon cards while you play your pokemon" would be so fun?
LOL I remember beating that game all the time. The lady with the psychic pokemon was annoying. Then again, if it wasn't for her I would have never known how to use Maintenance so effectively. She was still annoying to beat though haha.

Honestly the only time I'd go back to classic games is to mess with glitches and exploits... with the exception of stuff like Super Metroid. RPGs really bore me now.

I hate to admit it, but I totally know what you mean. I've tried re playing some of my old rpgs, including Final Fantasy 8, Legend of Dragoon, Legend of Legaia, and many others, but after about 5-10 gameplay hours, I get bored with it and never play it again. I used to be able to play all night no problem =/

I had this problem too. I really don't think it's the games, I'm sure it's a part of becoming older. I used to be able to put hours into my old GB pokemon games at a time. Now I can't play one for more than an hour without falling asleep. My attention span to the small screen has diminished by a lot. Call it hormones or the fact you know you could be doing something more productive. It's a part of growing up for me. I swear it's a gift If you can be over 21 and play a pokemon game (or any RPG for that matter) for hours on end without losing focus or interest. I use the word gift loosely though.

Ha yeah, true, true. A virtue and a curse--to enjoy something with such linear structure. If you've played one, you've played them on. You caught on to the pattern. You know the game can be beat. You explored every crevice and thought each monster's unique stats were just magnificent.

Rarely do I replay but to reminisce.

This makes me think of how I used to wonder why adults who supposedly played Atari and whatnot all the time when they were young don't play games now. I always thought to myself "I love games! I'll never stop playing!" But as I get older and get more involved with college and stuff, I only play games a total of 2 or 3 hours an entire week. I guess the more responsibilities you get, the less you care about playing video games or watching anime etc. Kinda sucks really :c

I went back to Shin Megami Tensei.
Downloaded a translated rom for the SNES, and I actually like it. ._.
It's a basic game, imo, but it's really fun. ;3
