I have no idea if I just like it more because I saw it last or what, but Green Isn't Your Color was gold. Except for the oddly omniscient Pinkie Pie, that was kind of creepy. Bridle Gossip and Sonic Rainboom were also pretty good.
On the other hand, the worst episodes are generally Cutie Mark Crusader episodes wow those suck
edit: By the way, some people are theorizing that Equestria most closely imitates Mao's China for several reasons, not the least of which is Twilight Sparkle's situation (politicians and members of the upper class that needed to be humbled were often sent to the countryside to live and learn with the masses to be reproletarianized). which puts Celestia in a hilarious new light.
