agreed - rating system needs an expansion, or just flatout overhaul. Rather than letting the 1-99 scale go to waste, you can get rid of the difficulty names of things and redo the entire XML based off of these difficulties. It would be a bit tedious, but it's a job that might need to be done later anyway; better sooner than later in my honest opinion.Comment

It just never made any sense to me why we lowered fmo's to 10's because the community got better at the game. So there were more ffr masters, doesn't seem like an issue to me.Comment

That goes into the discussion of Adventures of Lolo being an 11 instead of a low 12.

I can see moving some difficulties around after the avmiss fix, but any replacement of difficulties for the other files doesn't make sense to me. The only time the difficulties should be moved is if there's some major game-changing bug fix (like avmiss fixing or speedmod introduction) or if it was placed wrong to start with.
If the players are getting better, don't downgrade the songs for it. Seems like we're approaching the FMO is the new VC era, and that isn't very good on someone who is stuck between those (like me :<)

Had a blackflag after the frenetic midsection and got a 2nd good from nerves in RAN... still a killer 2 good run.
So yeah, RAN is probably a low-ish FGO... it's harder than Time to Eye and Lolo (which, I know, are borderline), and it personally rivals Tageri pretty well.Last edited by smartdude1212; 12-24-2010, 12:49 AM.Comment

From that screenshot on the previous page I think that was the old version of RAN. I only made minor changes though, so the amount of steps should be the same. I sent the new version only few days ago though, so I guess it's partially my fault. And I agree with it being a FGO.
