It's not the OS. Your computer must not be able to handle the OS and that's not the OS's fault. I say this every time somebody blames it on their OS. I've bench marked XP, Vista, and 7 and my computer runs each of them equally, because I have a computer that can handle them, or you're just using it as an excuse for sucking.
I wish it wasn't the OS. It's not like I don't meet the requirements.

This is what not to do.. If you go onto indexwrap2 with vista but you don't have a subby to block out google ads or whatever there is, it lags tremendously. On my vista computer, I can get around 80-100 goods on FOTBB (like 20 on XP). On indexwrap2 with vista, I got 376 goods on FOTBB but only 1 average. Sounds like a lagfest to me.
Why hasnt this thread been locked yet? Everyone already knows Vista is the mortal enemy of FFR yet people continue to argue that it isnt, people need to wake up and stop being so damn dense. Vista doesnt handle any flash games good because it cant tell the difference between FPS changes. THE END.
Just hopping in for teh lulz
And your browser is processed by....exactly

You guys don't really know how this works. I know how to program in several languages including ASM which works directly with the computers hardware so I know how an OS works at all levels. Saying Vista process flash badly is a stupid statement because Vista only goes through different procedures with Firefox if it even does really. Firefox will use the exact same procedures for processing flash on any OS. Vista doesn't make flash any slower. If you have no idea how a computer works I'm asking you to please not add any assumptions. Flash is processed the same in every single operating system as they will all use the same flash codec unless you have some ****ty 3rd party one.
EDIT: confirmed this with taking Computer Science in University. gg. Please understand I freaking bench marked all this and the numbers say "THEY ARE THE SAAAME". No idea what part of that you guys don't understand.

Read the thread ffs. STATISTICS SAY IF YOU HAVE A GOOD COMPUTER IT IS JUST AS SMOOTH AS XP. Ok? Buy a computer with good specs and a graphics card (not chip) and it'll run just as good as XP, otherwise use XP. Can't tell the difference between FPS changes? Do you think a computer is a gnome in a metal box with a marker, paper, and mad fast art skills?

Ya because Vista works so bad for many of us and no one can play on it. I play on Vista, it works fine, I've seen other good players play on vista, doesnt bother them either. Just because people like you seem to not be able to play on it doesnt mean it is horrible all together. If it was such a mortal enemy of FFR I wouldnt have over 500 AAA's with it and other good scores. Just because it doesnt run as smooth as XP doesnt mean it is a dump all together. So back off.
Fido, we are only talking about ffr while on vista. Not how vista performs as a whole. I have an xp computer and a vista computer with similarly good specs and they run great for everything at high graphics, but for some reason my vista computer can't seem to not skip when playing ffr. This clearly has nothing to do with performance. There must be something that vista is doing with some peoples specific hardware to cause flash to not run smoothly when it is something like ffr.
I was benchmarking FFR...it came out the same with no little bumps at all and just cause I can't AAA a FGO song doesn't mean I can't tell the difference. I play a lot of rhythm games. Maybe it's because you have an Intel Graphics Chip? Those will do that especially on Vista.
on the first FFR song I played on my (then) new laptop with vista, I got a clean FC on thrash with 167 goods, and my laptop is more than capable of handling the OS...so yeah

Well I'm glad you had compatible hardware on the computer you tested. Why don't you come test mine now. I doub't it would be the same.
