That makes 0 sense at all, just because they AAA'd does not mean they're better then me, I can make top 8 for sure if I was still going to be in. Some people can do good on VC's and blow ass on FMO and FGO's.

Of course, there are likely to be individuals who suck at a certain song and don't do well in the tournament because of it; that's why I've advocated a grand prix system for the top 16. But the general principle is this: on average, those who can AAA a given set of songs are better than those who cannot.
