Re: I need some good J-Pop.

To me, J-Pop = Ayumi Hamasaki....not that Im saying she's the best, just that I dont have alot of Jpop laying around other then her.

Nyokou and Rebirth know alot more then I do for sure

EDIT: this thread also reminds me that BeForU left Konami a year ago, and I need to check up on what they have been doing

          MOSAIC.WAV
          Ayumi Hamasaki
Capsule is meh but only because I've only heard a few songs
YMCK is 8bit style jpop, kinda cool
          KOTOKO
          KAORI
          MELL
Kawada Mami has some decent stuff sometimes
bunch of others but I don't want to list

gendou.com has thousands of anime songs on it, all of which are jpop

search for "I've Sound" on torrent sites. Tons of jpop on there

Seconded, they also did the opening song, Shangri-La, from the anime Fafner.

Eh, Sechimo is pretty good. Google 'em.

They are more keyboard-ish pop then J-pop but I categorized them differently.

I don't have any suggestions for artists as Jpop isn't really within the musical knowledge I have, but I can tell you that at zamzar.com or vixy.net you can download the sounds from videos on youtube (eg. music if it's just got music or like people talking or whatever) so you could find some on youtube. It's in stereo though so the quality is not as good but... hope this helps

                                I have their complete discography. It's a must-have in every J-music library.
